hi , i have read some articles about ddr and ram...
if i'm not wrong, ddr4 2666mhz transfer rate is around 21GB per scc

for 16gb, if i use 2x8gb , do i get 42 GB and if i use 1x 16, i get 21gb transfer rate btw ram and cpu?
or its overall?

Single channel vs dual channel.

Dual is better and strongly recommended, but not "double".
About a 15% difference.

honestly i dont
well, do you need the 4 more gigs? but honestly all of those aren't recommended, get an 8x2 kit, it wouldnt be anymore than a few dollar more.
honestly? i don't know if i need it or not...
i notice , in call of duty ,my Ram is 7.9/8gb
same goes for gears 5
my friend with 32 GB pc told me when he run COD warzone, its 13/32
i have disabled SSD usage as ram since its ganna destroy its lifetime... but my Gears5 didnt run at all, so i had to enable it by allowing it to use my HDD ...
so what would u suggest? comparing 4 GB more vs dual channel?

sometimes , iuse my laptop on battery , i wonder using two ram effect it alot ? comparing the performance i get by dual channels

p.s: why 8+4 is bad? same brand and same frequency?
i remember my Lenovo z500 had 4+2GB (6 in total) with no problem
