2x2Gb RAM and 2x4Gb RAM can work on same system???

Hey guys, I have several years now some Ocz platinum 1333Mhz (2x2gb) Ram and its about time that i buy some more for gaming...i think
Questions:

1)Do i need more??(its low latency Ram 7-7-7-20)
2)If yes,can i put 2 more sticks of the same Ram BUT (2x4Gb) ??

If your mother has only 2 channels for rams you cant put another 2 rams :S
Can you tell me also your CPU so i find you a good ram for it.

1) Depends on what you play, but probably. I have played Skyrim on 2GB of RAM before (with a decent framerate), but that is not recommended. Your computer would probably benefit from more ram, but here is how you can tell:
>Next time your are playing a game, get into it a bit, then press Alt + tab
>Press ctrl + shift + esc
>Click on the Performance tab
>Look for a little box that says memory just above it. It should have a bar that is partially illuminated and under that bar should be a number of GB. That is the amount of memory that is currently being used by your system. If it is anywhere above about 3GB, then more RAM will probably benefit you.
2) Yes, you can do that. Some motherboards give priority/better performance to certain slots, so if that is the case with your motherboard, you should put the 4GB sticks in those slots. This information should be in your motherboard's users' manual.
Edit: I am assuming your motherboard has at least 4 physical slots for RAM. If not then you will need to replace your current RAM rather than adding to it.

Really thnx for the reply's guys 😛 the motherboard is new, Mobo here It has 4 DIMMs 😛
i already have 4gb ocz 1333mhz (2x2Gb) but i dont want to change all the Rams just upgrade if possible(same ram same lattency) ..i heard something tha AMD proccesors only use 1333mhz? so...putting another 8Gb of ram will be a fail ? :/ The configuration will be:
DIMM 1: 2GB
DIMM 2: 2GB
DIMM 3: 4GB
DIMM 4: 4GB
**The system is not finished yet so i cant do any of your tips man :S Cpu : Fx-8350

Best bet would be to get a set of 2x4GB, that way you'd have 8GB for sure, generally dual channel setup is in sl;lots 1-3 or 2-4....then once you have it, no guarantee but could try the older sticks with it -if thinking that, look for 2x4GB in same freq, timings and voltages as your current sticks

The link you posted does not seem to be working for me, but the system you have suggested will work fine. However, I would recommend this arrangement instead:
DIMM 1: 4GB
DIMM 2: 4GB
DIMM 3: 2GB
DIMM 4: 2GB
It might perform slightly better than the other arrangement you suggested. Any difference will be minor, though so if you don't want to do it that way then there is no big deal.
As for AMD processors only handling 1333Mhz, I am not sure where you heard that and what they were trying to say. Perhaps they were just wrong. AMD processors can handle, as far as I know, any of the same RAM speeds as Intel processors. I personally have had mine running at up to 2100Mhz in the past, and I know it is possible to go to at least 2300Mhz.

Not knowing the mobo, most (to use dual channel - use slots 1-2 as Channel A and 3-4 as channel B, and you need eaual amounts of DRAM to be effective in dual - so with 2 4GB sticks either 1-3 or 2-4, then if decide to try and mix, you'll want the higher capacity in the lead slots so 4GBs in 1-3, 2GBs in 2-4

You list the 8350 as your CPU and yes AMDs do have DRAM limitations - the average 8350 is rated to run 1866 at 1 stick per channel with CPU at stock, many have gotten 2 sticks to 2133 or so, but when going to 4 sticks the 'rating' drops to 1333/1600 though again that depends on your individual CPU, and your OCing/tweaking skills. Looking at your motherboard (which i assume is this one based on the link you posted http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131736), this seems to be the case. You can tell by the colors of the DIMM slots. You want matching sticks in matching colors.

I got that motherboard from the link he posted in his OP. The link doesn't work for me, but based on the URL this seems to be the same motherboard.

That's your best options, then will prob want to raise the DRAM and the CPU/NB voltages
