2x2gig kits QUALITY ram

hey i got 4x1gig corsair DHX C4 800mhz but i cant change the frequency from auto without it not booting with the 4 sticks installed in my motherboard (M3A32-MVP deluxe) but i can change the frequency with 2 sticks in so i was wonder which is a better quality ram for overclocking? got a 6000+ currently stuck at 243*14 ram at 486 4-4-4-15 2.3V i know the HT goes up 1600mhz which is what i am aiming for thus the ram needing to be of GOOD quality

i can not order from newegg i live in oz but i can get those through my local retailer. i cant get crucial or patriot

either one of your corsair DHX sticks is faulty or your northbridge voltage isn't high enough to support 4 sticks of memory. Try and set it to about 1.45Volts and might be better. You could also try lowering your multiplier to x9 for 400FSB to be 1:1 with your memory at stock speeds, might be more stable.

Otherwise..... I'd go for Corsair or Mushkin 2x2gb.

but if i took my multi to 9 and ran it a 400 i'd be hit 3.6ghz. bit far for the chip but i will try upping the nothbridge voltage, thanks for the tip

I just bought that G.SKILL 2x2GB DDR2 800 kit and it's great. 4-4-4-12-2T at a little less than 2.1V, can't complain about that. Of course you might want to run at 1T with an AMD system, and I don't know if this kit can handle that. My DS3L can't do 1T so I can't test it for you either

I don't know much about AM2 overclocking, but I just upgraded from my 939 system and I don't think AM2 is much different. How low can the multiplier go on your 6000+? If you can do 8x400 I'd try that before buying new RAM.

go from 4x up to 15x. i also tried upping the northbridge volts Beurling and it still doesn't do nothing just sits there until i clear the cmos then it boots. and none of them are faulty
