2x4 Gb Dim Ram Sticks But Only 1 Functional

Hello Everyone,

I'm having a hard time figuring out this issue ... can anyone please help ?

I Recently purchased 2 Dims of 4gb 1600MHz Kingston HyperX FURY Ram
to install on my ASUS 970 Pro Gaming/Aura Motherbaord

It Displays info with one specific Dim installed but not the other
But at the same time in my BIOS it shows clearly the Dims .. what slots they occupy and the frequency they are running at .. On windows .. its 10 64bit .. it shows 8gb installed but 3.90 usable

CPU-Z says its 8gb but single channel

which lead me to believe its a setting that needs changing or updating but the BIOS is up to date so its not that .. but the concerning factor is that it boots but with a specific one and not the other which makes me believe that the other is faulty

what do you guys think Faulty? or Fixable?

Oh my Processor is FX-6300 OC to 4.5Ghz
but its been so since it was the default 3.5Ghz

Have you tried swapping the sticks around, it can be a faulty stick or a faulty slot on the motherboard. You can also try running memtest to see if it pops some problem.

I don't think the slot is faulty cause i use the same slot for both dims and works for 1 and not the other but I'll try the memtest now abd let you know

I did I tried all Combinations nothing worked .. .
