I have a motherboard “biostar z170t” comes with 2x4pin cpu fan header named “cpu_fan1” & “cpu_fan2” and i have “V8 gts” cpu cooler and comes with two fans and each fan comes with 4pin connector also. should i connect them on 1 cpu header using y splitter or should i connect them separately? Im asking for which is better, thank you.

Thank you, Is it true that 1 cpufan header max output of 1A in most motherboard? If that is the case, anyway can you explain why it will reduced the performance of the 2 cpu fans while attaching it to 1cpu header Using Y splitter since my 2cpu fan controller consumes 0.31A only?

maybe it will have some voltage drop with full speed fan but i think if it have enough header you should connect each to each
