I was speaking in long term (5+ years), or past the normal warranty. I don't think the new EVO models have even been released for 5 years yet (or are just getting there) so I've also seen no tests showing a large batch of their long-term performance. I'd love to see Backblaze run a report on a rack of EVO's over the next few years, but I doubt that will happen due to cost.
That's really semantics though for this post, and as you can see Sebastian has already gotten the answer he was looking for. 😉
