2x8 1600 G.Skill NT or 2x8 1600 corsair vengeance

Since there is so much information out there that anything over 1600 is a waste for gaming, whats the difference between the ram's in the 1600mhz category.

The corsair vengeance is $40 more expensive for me than the G.Skill NT, can anyone point out why this might be and if it's worth getting the more expensive option.

The NT is basically value DRAM, will run fine, not performance - little to no OC headroom, and depending on the model of the vengeance, actually not much difference other than heat sinks

Are the difference in heat sinks going to make a difference? Since ocing the ram is pointless, the heat sinks are the only factor to decide on

Only for appearance, if you want the look. DDR3 RAM like the G.Skill NT series runs cool to touch so heat is never a problem.
