Hello. I'm finishing the final upgrades on my PC and need to add a USB hub to the front panel. I already have a set of USB 2.0 plugged into my board (P5K3 Deluxe) and so I had to find an adapter PCI card to connect the 20-pin USB cable adapter to. The only concern I have is that it says it supports 2 USB connections, while the hub I'm looking into has 4. I will provide links below so you know what I mean. If anyone could tell me if it'll work, it'd be very much appreciated. If it wouldn't, is there an alternative? Thank you, again.

I would stress that you stick with only the PCI based USB3.0 card. It's been documented that the Renasas based USB3.0 cards don't like to work with hubs. So if anything buy a 2 ports USB3.0 front panel bay device to pair with the PCI card.

FYI, hubs are the worst thing that man has ever made since it just cripples the throughput across all ports.
