So I'm about to upgrade my 3.5-year-old PC. This is its current specs:
■ Intel Core i5-4590
■ Deepcool Gammaxx 300
■ Gigabyte GA-H97-HD3
■ Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 G1 Gaming
■ Kingston HyperX Fury Black 8GB DDR3 1600MHz
■ Chieftec 650W Cable Management 85+
And I'm going replace Core i5-4590 with Core i7-8700, Gigabyte GA-H97-HD3 with Gigabyte Z370P D3 and Kingston HyperX Fury Black 8GB with Crucial Ballistix Sport LT 16GB DDR4 2400MHz CL16 (probably I'll manage to find with something a bit cheaper). GPU, power supply, and CPU cooler stay the same, at least for now.
My only concern is the power supply but during these 3.5 years I had no problems with it. What's your opinion?
