3.55mm jack port

I think that my motherboard have issue with 3.55mm jack for stereo speaker. I need to keep adjust the jack until i have sound on both side speaker. Same goes at the front panel. Do you guys have other solution? My motherboard doesnt have enough space for sound card. Is there any stereo speaker with USB port? Im currently use usb headset to listen to everything.

Your cable (the metal part inside the isolation) must be broken bear the jack. Get a new one, or resolder it cutting out the corrupted part.

If both jacks have the issue, the problem is with the common part, the headphones you are using. Headphones don't last forever.

Cut and resolder? Never tried this myself, but I'm guessing most of the people who come here aren't able to do this. They probably don't even have a soldering gun.

Of course if it was a cheap headset, just get a new one!

Never said this was impossible. Just not the greatest advice for most people who come here.

I tried headset and speaker. Both gave same result
