[SOLVED] 3.5mm audio devices not detected unless plugged in since boot win10

If I have an audio device plugged in to the front or back 3.5mm jack when I boot it will be connected. If I unplug it and plug it back in it will not be connected. I was having this issue or a similar issue and I tried fixing it by reinstalling my motherboards audio driver. This started after I installed a new stick of ram.

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and Windows 10 version information.

What audio device or devices are you plugging in?

Try running the built-in Windows 10 troubleshooters. The trouble shooters may find and fix something.

Next try "sfc /scannow" and "dism".
