3.5mm microphonejack not working properly

I recently brought a new computer to play some games, the audio works fine but when i plug in my turtle beach earforce px22 headphones into the microphone jack to talk it makes a loud buzzing sound.
when i plug the headphones into something like my phone the microphone works fine.
could it be a problem with the microphone jack or the drivers, when i try to update them windows says that they are fully up to date.

Any help is appreciate, thank you.

I would think better chance it's the jack....but make sure the plug is pushed all the way in.

I've tried using the rear panel mic jack and there isn't the buzzing but my friends still can't hear me and when i use the recorder on my computer there is no sound.
