Hi, can I use 3 way fan splitter to connect 3 from these fans into 1 header on this motherboard? As far as I understand, each fan uses 1.7W, 0.20A and 12V, while the motherboard, based on its site, is capable of 24W (2A x 12V). How do I calculate if my motherboard's header is capable to hold these 3 fans at once?

Solution
The old MB fan_header can only output max. 1A or 12W, and the good news is your new MB fan_header can output max.2A or 24W.
So you are fine to use three fans on one fan_header, for each fan will be 2.4 W ( 0.2A x 12V max), and three of them will be 7.2W, which is well under 24W limit. In other hand the fan maybe draw 1.7 W when it runs at low speed, I guess.
