I purchased a http:// becuase I have only one fan head on my MB which has a back exhaust fan plugged in. I am planning to add a liquid cooler http:// and I a, just wondering if it is safe to have the liquid cooler plus removing the existing exhaust fan to add the hub and have a total of 3 12v fans running off the hub which is attached to one 4 point head?

I have a MSI A320M PRO-VD PLUS MB

Specs: AMD Ryzen 7 1800X 3.6GHz, AMD Radeon RX 580 4GB, 16GB RAM

550 W PSU I think

(I’m a newbie to this and I am upgrading a prebuilt PC)

That particular aio comes with all necessary...
You have a cpu fan header as well.

That aio comes with All necessary hardware to connect both the pump & the fans to the single cpu header, including a sata power cable so you dont overdraw on the board header.

The rad fans actually plug into the pump itself.

I haven't ordered the pump yet so I wasn't sure what type of fan connectors It needed. You are saying that when installing the liquid cooling I won't need any extra fan headers and that all I need is the cpu header?

Also I want to buy the cheaper option which is a smaller 240mm radiator. My chassis says it can mount one 280 mm in the front, how ever if I put the fans first wouldn’t I be able to mount a 120mm radiator?

That particular aio comes with all necessary hardware included to just use the single cpu fan header yes.

& yes if your case supports a 280mm front intake then in essence you can use a 120mm aio + a 120 or 140mm fan as a seperate intake.

However If I were using a 120mm aio I would postion it as a rear exhaust instead & just fill the front with 2 x 140mm intake fans.

What is your actual case model ??
