I'm using a dell inspiron 5537 8GB win8.1 64bit laptop. I purchased it an year ago.
History: The fan started making very loud noises, but didn't get it checked till the warranty expired (due to circumstances). I got the fan replaced at a local store. After about 15 days, the inbuilt hard disk failed. It wasn't being detected (error: no boot device found. Press any key to reboot). After finding it was beyond repair (it wasn't being detected even when connected externally), I saved enough money to buy a new hdd (Hitachi travelstar). After another 15 days, the same problem reoccured. This time it was being detected externally but c drive wasn't detected. Reinstalled OS. Drivers weren't installing and sometimes throws an error message saying unable to read data at some hexadecimal location. Replaced hdd under warranty. Got a new one about 15 days ago.
