3 long beeps

3 long beeps, machine was working(xp OS). died after inserting a usb stick. usb stick worked fine
on my linux machine; the usb stick has killed 2 xp pc's. Is there a virus out there that can do such
a thing?

Considering viruses won't be written for Linux, there may have been a Windows virus that snuck onto it, but that doesn't seem too likely to me. You could always run a scan of the USB drive to check.
