3 Monitor set up on SAPPHIRE 100352-2L 7950

So I have three monitors (2 Asus VN247H-P, 1 Asus VS247H-P) that I am trying to run eyefinity on. I have a active mini-display adapter (Accell B087B-006B) running from the mini-display port to the dvi port on my Asus VS, one hdmi cord running from one of my Asus VN monitors, and a dvi-to-hdmi running to my other Asus VN.

Problem is I can't get the monitor that is hooked up with the adapter to work. Windows isn't recognizing it at all.

Do I need all active adapters? Is the active adapter I have just broken?

I made sure all monitors were working, all the display ports work after testing my passive mini-display port to hdmi cords on the monitors.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong.

I should also mention that my 7950s are in crossfire as well if that makes a difference at all

Nope.

Window's makes a sound like a new device has been plugged in but it doesn't detect anything.

Then it looks to me like a defective adapter.
