Is it possible to have a three monitor setup with the Diamond ATI Radeon 5670 (http://www.diamondmm.com/5670PE51G.php).

It has three physical ports (DVI/HDMI/VGA) but no DisplayPort.

Has anyone had any success with 3+ monitors and this graphics card?

It is more than possible. It has 3 ports; all you need are a few connector-to-connector converters assuming all 3 monitors use the same type of cable and ports.

The original HD 5670 was designed to support Eyefinity, and all you need is the working card and 3 monitors, along with the drivers to make your 3 monitor setup dream come true.

Unfortunately hes right, the hdmi runs off the same controler as the dvi usually which means youll get two displays and one of them would be duplicated or possible the card would cut off both!.

consider a 5770? theyre not terribly expensive these days;

ohh and youd need an active display port adapter;

of course an even cheaper alternative is to buy a second graphics card (the same as what you already have) and put them in cross fire as then you can run three or even 4 if you wanted to.

Yes sad but true we here at Diamond have tried time and time again to see if there is a way with out a display port and no luck. If the card does not have a display port you can not use 3 monitors or eyefinity.
If it does have a display port you have to use a ACTIVE display port adapter or a Native display port (native means the monitor has a display port connection and use are using a display port cable with out any adapters)

Buying another graphics card is not an option. I literally just purchased this one (and can no longer return it). In addition, I have neither the space nor power supply in my box to handle another card.

It's been more than 14 days. It's been a little under a month. So, no, I can't return it.
