Question 3 pcs.. all identical.. one pc has slower internet speed.

I have three identical pcs at home all plugged to the same connection. my internet speed is 300 mbps.. i get 300 on 2 pcs.. however, on the third pc.. i only get 100 capped.. what is wrong.. ive switched all the wires.. and the result is the same.. 3rd pc only gets 100 mbps max..

same pcs

5700 x
windows 10

same connection same modem same network.. no matter how i change the cables.. the third pc only gets 100 mbps max..

Then you can rule out that it is hardware related, might want to inspect the settings of device manger or other network related settings on the pc's and compare that.

what is the connection sync speed you get on the computer that caps at 100? is it 1 gbps or 100 mbps?
(in addapter settings right click on the ethernet connection and select status)

Is the problem pc plugged directly into the router or does it go through a patch panel or something? Can you verify on the advanced adapter settings that "speed" or "speed & duplex" are set to "auto negotiate"? generally this would not have gotten changed, but you never know
