[SOLVED] 3 Pin CPU fan vs 4 Pin

I have this CPU fan, Thermaltake Gravity i2 95W. I have a ASUS Z 390 - P and i7 9700K. It is a 3 pin fan. Is this compatible? I read reviews that I need a 4 pin fan.

No I wouldn't dare put a 9700k underneath it, plus the rpm speed for that heatsink fan is too low.

One of these will do it justice especially if your price limit is under 75.00 dollars, also use the thermal grease I linked.

It's not good enough to cool that processor. Slacking just a bit, for a 9600K at stock clock speed it would probably be OK.

The higher you move up with the watts the processor uses the better cooling you need.
