[SOLVED] 3 Pin Fan Not Working ?

Hi! I installed an Arctic P14 silent into my build today and everything is connected correct but my Bios or any other program isn’t picking it up? If it helps i have a ASUS Prime A320M-K motherboard

Exactly where di you plug in that fan? Is the fan running when turned on?

No the fan actually isn’t running at all and CHA_FAN is where i plugged it in at, I ordered a 3 pin to Molex cable last night though to give it a shot

Oper hardware monitor does not pick it up either?

Have you tried looking in bios or other software you might use and see if the voltage is set too low for the fan or is disabled? It should have come on at least temporarily.

You can test if it's a motherboard issue or fan issue by temporarily swapping it to a header you know is actually working, that already has a fan on it. There's always a possibility it is DOA.
