3 rd hard disk error

i was having same problem, my hard disk worked for 15 days proprely and suddenly it shows message that 3 rd slave hard disk error. now as i plug it harddisk spins up but error message shown is same..
is my hard disk become faulty?

I'd suggest you to try to test the drive using your HDD manufacturer's diagnostics utility, so that you check up on the health and SMART status. This is how we'll know if it's actually faulty or not. Check the HDD website for such a software tool. If you cannot find it, you can refer to some of the third-party suggestions here: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/282651-32-best-diagnostic-testing-utility

I'd also suggest you to try the drive on another computer or plug it using a different SATA cable to a different SATA port to make sure that it's actually the drive's fault.
