Hey everyone.
My wife's computer is experiencing some issues related to her usb's and we are not sure where to go to narrow down the culprit of whats causing this.
The issues:
-Usb's will randomly blink off and on
-Not all usb's are affected at the same time
-Plugging in a new usb will cause other usb's to turn off and on.
-Network usb and memory sticks' seem to be the main things affected.
-Having only 3 usb's plugged in seems to be fine. The issue only shows up when more are plugged in.
-The problem has been going on for months, some days its fine other days its not. most of the time she has 6-7 usb's plugged in.
at this point we have accepted something has to be replaced, we are just unsure of what the main problem is. is it her case, motherboard, power supply, drivers, etc... any help in narrowing this down would be much appreciated.

-Windows 10
-Z170 pro-gaming motherboard
- EVGA 550 power Supply
