3 way sli 970

Hello all, im typing on my phone so i am going to keep this short . I was going to buy a single 980 Then get a seccond one later on. But Then i was seeing how cheap 970s were so I thought maybe going 970 sli and getting a third one later. What do you guys think?

sli 980 will give the best overall performance. anything more than 2cards ( triple setup ) will lost you more performance.

That would last you for a VERY long time, a dual sli gtx 970 is very impressive by itself, a 3 way would be very overkill but very VERY powerful, and would be useful for multi-displays for 3 or more displays.

I think I will either go with an Asus swift or add 2 additional 1080 p monitors to the one I already have what do u reccomend? As for the GPUs I'm just not sure I herd they improved the sli scaling with the new 900 series but I just can't decide, I feel ike the 970s are a much better bang for the buck.
