Hi all,

Sorry to go over old ground but I wanted to ask a very simple question. If I wanted to run 3 GTX260 GPU's what would the requirements be and I am thinking more along the lines of CPU, RAM and PSU requirements. I have an ASUS Striker II Formula 780i MoBo that can take 3 cards so that should not be an issue. Why do I want to run 3 GTX260's? Because I already have 2 and want to add a 3rd for the hell of it!

I have a Samsung 23" Widescreen 1080P Monitor, an E8600 CPU @ 4GHz, 1000watt Corsair PSU with 3GB of OCZ Reaper 1066MHz Ram, is this enough?

All advice gratefully received..........as usual

Hello and welcome to the forums :)
Well i think 2xGTX 260 are fine for 1080p is there any game u can't max out :D ?
Your system is however ready for 3-way SLI,u have a good CPU and a good PSU too so yes it's enough for running 3 GTX 260s

Truthfully you will not notice a difference. If you are benchmarking you will notice between 0 to 20 fps more depending on the game. I completely understand wanting a third one just because.
