3 Way SLI with Rosewill PSU

I have a 1000W Rosewill PSU.

I was curious if I could run 3 GTX 570s in SLI with this PSU. I was planning to wait till the new ivy bridge processors came out before I bought more cards because they are suppose to consume less power.

So I guess overall would this work and would I have any room for overclocking or would everything need to stay stock?

It should work because the PSU has enough power and enough connectors. But I wouldn't trust that brand of PSU. One I would steer clear of. Instead would buy one of these.

There is a reason that PSU is so much cheaper than the other PSU. If I was buying one I would want the second of these two simply due to it being modular, but you have managed without it so far.

You should have room to overclock at 1000w (if that PSU can actually handle it).

Just wondering what you mean saves you power? The GPU use most of the power you may save 20w or less switching to a ivy bridge processor.

most likely.i am not a rosewill fanboy but i saw 5870 CF on the same psu.wattage is enough for 570 3-way SLi but connectors may pose a problem.

I don't think that PSU can keep 3x570 . 570 X 2 consume in games almost 600w.

It has all the needed PCI-E connectors.
