Hey guys, I built a computer about three weeks ago. One week ago, I turned it on and there was no display to the monitor. My backlit keyboard lit up and the computer went about the booting process, but there was no display to the monitor. I unplugged everything and plugged it back in, and everything seemed to be working fine again. Just today, I had the same issue. So I did the same thing I did before, but to no avail. For the past two days, I have tried every combination of things that I can and that I have found on the internet, but nothing has worked.
Specifics about my current situation:
When I turn on my computer, there is no display to the monitor from my R9 290. Integrated graphics work, and other graphics cards work as well. All fans spin on the GPU when I have it plugged into the computer. Yes, all cables are connected, and yes, I have tried it in multiple difference PCIe slots.
My dilemma is that because I've had the computer for about a month with all issues seemingly resolved, I threw away the packaging, so I no longer have the original packaging of anything in case I need to return something.
Current specifications:
CPU: Core i5 4460
Mobo: Asus Z87-Pro
GPU: Gigabyte R9 290
PSU: Coolermaster G750M 80+ bronze
RAM: 8GB DDR3 240 pin 1600
Any help is GREATLY appreciated. Thank you!
