3 x HD monitors or 1x UHD for work?

Hey guys

I have a pc that I mainly use for work (programming, pcb design, autocad) and I am at the time where I need to buy new monitors, as I have a low res (1280*1024) monitor that is waay to small

I was thinking about a 3 x HD monitors, as I have very good experiences with 2 monitor set up

Should I consider a 4K display( for example the Samsung, that is around the same price of 3 monitors) for work as it has 4 times the resolution of HD, or for multitasking is much better on 4 separate monitor?

Well, the cheapest 4k monitor for work in my opinion is the Dell UltraSharp UP3214Q, because it provides the space and "non-TN" panel. All others are small and use TN panels. I did not chose any monitors of 4K yet

My question is that for work 24" * 3 xHD monitor or 32/28" 1x UHD is better for multiple windows at the same time
