30+ fps and still crashing?

So I saw battlefront 2 2017 on Origin for sale and I decided to buy because it was my favorite ps4 game before it stopped working. My pc doesn't meet the minimum requirements so I tried running it on low with some few adjustments to increase the fps. Some maps were playable but when I move around fast in some areas the game starts to stutter and eventually crash even tho the fps is in a playable range and I get a notification saying drivers are not responding and has successfully recovered. The fan didn't sound as loud compared to playing other high end games.

My question is since the game is 30 fps and above is it supposed to have any problems crashing because of low end apu?

Is there any tricks i can do to avoid the stuttering without buying a gpu? I don't care how bad the graphics are once I can play.

The cpu is A8 5500B with integrated gpu radeon hd 7560D and 8GB ram.

The video card could be getting too hot and 'crashes' as a way to prevent damage. It's possible that it could also be going bad.

When you're playing, close any background apps you do not need to have running. Make sure drivers are up to date and I would also recommend airing out the system(in case you haven't done so in awhile). Since it's also an older computer, if possible, I'd recommend replacing the thermal paste on the cpu(since it's probably old/worn out by now).

Hello, You may get or check for the latest drivers for you're AMD A8 5500B

From experience, I had an A10 processor and the same thing happened to me.
ill have a link for drivers below :

I have instructions on how to install drivers below the link

Link:https://www.amd.com/en/support/apu/amd-series-processors/amd-a8-series-apu-for-desktops/a8-5500-radeon-hd-7560d

When on the page select your OS and x64 (64bit) or x86 (32bit)

After that get the Catalyst Software Suite from their page

Hope it helped 🙂

Thx,
Kuba
