While browsing 8 GB DDR 1600 RAM for my PC I'm building I noticed the price of this RAM was lower then usual. It looks like it is 30$ off usually retailing at 79.99. Am I Seeing things or did I maybe click the wrong RAM?? No were does it mention this RAM being on sale on New eggs website. Some of the other G.Skills RAM also looked like it had a good discount.

Thanks ! I think I am going to grab it. I have been researching building a PC and so far I have purchased a AMD FX 8350 from Amazon they had a deal deal for 50$ off and a Corsair 600T case (from friend not sale). I am looking at buying a EVGA GeForce GTX 760 2GB for video card and the Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 ATX AM3+ for the Motherboard. But all week I have been watching prices of all similar products like a hawk hoping to complete my rig under 800$

yeah i was looking at some old boxing day flyer from canada computers and it had 8g of ddr3 1600mhz corsair vengeance low profile for 35$.its like 90 bucks now on sale .-.

Hynix factory fire and as far as I know another manufacturer filed for bankruptcy, both happened around the same time last year.

Your not seeing things!! The Newegg part # is: N82E16820231689 on sale for $59.99 for 2x4 gb sticks. Regular $86.99. A nice discount of $27 biggies.
This part # refers to the Ripjaws series X, 2166, cls9 for Intel 9series Z87, Z97 processors and some AMD chips.
