300 - 400 dollar gaming pc

Hello all,

I am building a gaming pc, just the computer, this does NOT include the monitor, keyboard, mouse or OS. So i know i won't be getting a whole lot of performance for this much money but i have a small budget. I will be playing some rather graphically intense games on a 1080p Monitor. These games would include Crysis 3, Battlefield 4, and some not so intense games like CS:GO, Minecraft, Call of Duty, Dead Space, G Mod, Max Payne 3 ect. I don't exactly need really high graphics settings, but medium to high would be nice.

Optional: (if the budget allows it)

$400 is not enough for a halfway decent gaming PC to run those games. The only thing you would be able to afford is an XBOX console.

Not to take away from what you are trying to accomplish however at that at that price point you would probably be better served by getting a PS4 or XBOX One.

You can't build a $300-$400 gaming PC unless 800x600 is what you're playing at. Plus you'd have to inevitably upgrade your components and spend at least $800 in the long run

if you stretch it to 500 you could build an AMD APU build with the slightly older A55 chipset.

I agree with the above comments, $300-400 isn't enough to get a gaming pc. Something along the lines of this build is the bare minimum I would reccomend getting if you want to play new games at a playable fps.

Is this easily upgradable so in the future i could get a better graphics card? Also could i upgrade the cpu to like and i5 4670k in the future?

Yes, but you may want a 600w psu to upgrade.

That would not be very good for future upgrades. If you want a 4670k in the future you need a Z97 motherboard ($150) for overclocking
