Lots of laptops out there with Different specs. I have no idea which specs, more specifically CPUs, are good.. This is strictly for browsing and movies/YouTube purposes. No gaming. The budget isn’t strict but for what I want, I feel like $300-$500 should be enough, right? I saw these on Amazon and Thought I’d add them here.

I would like to have at least 8gb memory. I do have a 1tb external drive. An internal drive would be more convenient though, but not necessary If I can save more money. Because of the videos, I’d like to have a 15” screen as well. All suggestions are welcomed!

*Also, I would prefer Amazon because I have a bunch of points saved up (~$100).

Out of this shortlisting; I'd ask you to look into this one. You can hold onto the laptop for a long while and also have it on the go. The Ryzen equipped laptop that you linked above isn't bad either but if you intend to hold onto the laptop for a long while, I'd ask you to look at the middle ground, Ryzen 5 and at least 16GB's of ram.

Would you be interested in minor creature comforts on your laptop purchase like a backlit keyboard?

I went ahead and got the acer from Amazon. I applied my points to it for a discount and will probably add Another stick of memory later on. Thanks for the help.
