Hello everyone!

I would like to clarify something. Someone told me that someone told him that somebody... anyway, that soon there will be 300 mhz fsb T-birds. I've never heard about them, so I'm a little doubtful.

Any rumor killer here? :O) Thanks

It won't happen until at least Morgan/Barton, I can tell you that much. The problem is, people will have to buy new motherboards, which is something AMD is trying to avoid.

will require a new motherboard design for it to happen officially, but it can be done quite easily today.

my computer is technically a 300fsb athlon.
all you need is a unlocked athlon/duron chip, a motherboard that supports fsb modifying (most popular brands do)
decent PCI/AGP devices that can handle an eleveated pci/agp speed and most importantly,
quality PC133/PC2100 cas2 ram or PC150/PC2400 ram.
the PC150/PC2400 ram is particularly good as its rated to run at 150/300 Mhz.

im using pc150 sdram on a a7v133 with a athlon 1200C @ 1350.
very stable for extended periods of time.
the only issue ive found is that the elevated agp speed causes benchmarking programs (3dmark or winbench) to terminate.
