Hello everyone.

Accidentally splitted a 3MB file to 3000 pieces of 1KB rar files, and they were on desktop.
They caused the system to run very slow.
I deleted these files and did a clean install of Win7. But now system run with random lags when using programs like Photoshop, which was run normally before.

System is an iMac (2010):

Intel Core 2 Dou E7600
8 GB RAM
ATI HD4670 Graphics
1TB HDD

If you did a clean install of W7 as you say, it re-fornatted your drive and nothing old was left, they can't interfere any more. Considering that those files were not a result of a virus or other malware, should have been enough just to permanently delete them, didn't have to do clean install. Now you have to install drivers again and even if all is working those are just basic MS drivers and you should really install proper ones.
