Question 3000 ready?

Hello assembled assemblers.
I've ordered everything but the CPU and a case for my second build (my last being 10 years ago).
Here is what I have so far.

MOBO ATX MSI B450 Pro Carbon
RAM 2X8 gb of 3200 Corsair Vengeance
SSD 1tb Samsung EVO970
GPU Radeon RX570
PSU Corsair RM650x

I had planned to get the Ryzen 5 2600x (because it has the better cooler and a little faster than the 2600 for 20 extra simoleons).
But my MOB just arrived and it has a sticker which says"Ryzen 3000 Ready".

1) Is the Ryzen 5 3600 worth the $50 upcharge over the 2600x (I hope to have this computer for 10 years like my last one....)?

2) If it says 3000 Ready does that mean it will recognize the 3600 without a bios flash? Essentially will the 3600 be more difficult to build with?

I realize my graphics card choice is the weak link here, but the game I play doesn't need a ton of GPU power. I do want to build the system to be a bit future-proof other than the GPU which I can easily upgrade should I need to.

Money is an issue, but I can always find a little extra. I'm looking for solid and reliable.

Any other advice is much appreciated as I am a functional idiot and haven't done this in 10 years. All suggestions are most appreciated.
