I run a 2600+ Barton, 333 FSB. Have noticed mobiles run at 266 FSB. If I
were to buy, should I leave it at 266 or up it to 333. That should raise
the temp, but would it allow it to run more stable with my ram, or would
that be a non-issue. I am a newbie at this overclocking stuff. Please
don't link to a web page about overclocking, just want some opinions.
People on here keep mentioning Wes, if you could answer, thanks.

Catcher24, what you run it at is determined by what you run it in and
what you run it with.

More information from you will give you a much better qualified answer

- what MOBO are you going to put the AMD XP-M 3000+ Barton in ?
- what memory will you be using ?

Abit KD7. Default speed 333 FSB. But memory runs at 200 mhz, PC3200. No
problems with anything. The board is set up this way, the specs I mean.
I just can't overclock it to well. Want the mobile because it is
unlocked and I wouldn't have to mess with the FSB. So would it be better
to up the FSB on a mobile to 333 or would it not matter.
