Team T-Force Dark 3000MHz 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 kit only running at 1200mhz in task manager and CPU-Z. Weird part is i set D.O.C.P in BIOS to 3000mhz but BIOS says its running at 2400mhz.
Yes, the memory is "DDR" that stands for double data rate. It transfers data twice per clock. So a 1200Mhz clock speed has an effective transfer rate of 2400Mt (megatransfers). The "Mhz" designation on RAM is not technically accurate. So your'e telling me 1200 and 2400 are now the same thing? Also, how would I manually set the RAM timing? Is that just through D.O.C.P in BIOS?

What motherboard, and BIOS version do you have?
Insert RAM in A2 and B2 slots, In BIOS enable DOCP and make sure that 3000MHz is selected. You gave latest BIOS version, make sure you install latest chipset drivers.Asus B450m-a BIOS Version 2006
