3000MHz RAM with a board that doesn't support it?

Hello. I was going to purchase this RAM: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/LhgPxr/gskill-memory-f43000c15d16gvrb

With this motherboard: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/z2Z2FT/asrock-z270-extreme4-atx-lga1151-motherboard-z270-extreme4

The motherboard supports 2933 and 3200. It does not support 3000. What do I do in this situation? Should I purchase 3200 RAM instead?

If it supports the others it will support 3000mhz.

Multiple sellers have the board with no listing of 3000MHz ram support. It just skips over it and goes to 3200. Does this mean the RAM will downclock but still work?

It should still work at the specified speed , by using XMP profile in the BIOS and make sure you have an i5 or i7 of the k variety to run it.

Thank you. Will I need to change voltage or anything or do I just enable XMP and I'm done? I will be getting an i7 7700K.

Also sometimes a small OC is needed on the CPU to run it at FULL spec.
