hello,
i wanted to try and fix my monitor, if it's possible 😀
here is the description of the probleme, it sounds like burn in and ghosting from my run on google, but although it seem similar the symptoms are way more servere than that.
the screen is too bright, i even wonder if the black color still even exists, then when something is displayed on the monitor, like a window, it apear gradualy for like a sec or 2, same when it need to close, fades gradualy for 2-3 sec, and ofc everything moving on the screen gets blurry with a trail like ghosting.
so i tried this link: http://www.gribble.org/lcdfix/index.html
left it running for about 8hours, but nothing changed, so is the screen completly dead, if yes what hardware piece is the cause of this, because i have a 2nd monitor maybe i can switch to fix this one.
thx guys !

no my samsung monitor is just fine, but i wanted to try and fix this asus for the sake of it 😛, since i have another benQ monitor that stoped working altogether i thought if i can pinpoint what pieece of hardware responsible i can install it from the benq and see.
because to me this is not burn in, not ghosting , but a mixe of both just alot worse xD
PS : i wasn't joking about 300ms monitor xD, it's like the pixel takes about 3-5sec to go from grey to grey
