300W PSU inadequate for a 450W Radeon HD 6670?

Yesterday I purchased and installed an Asus Radeon HD 6670 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121442

and I'm running it on this PC http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?objectID=c03359127&lang=en&cc=us&contentType=SupportFAQ&prodSeriesId=5187022&prodTypeId=12454

It has a 300W PSU with 12Va=12a and 12Vb=16a. Everything is running smoothly but am I running the risk of burning out my PSU and other components in my PC? I'm not sure if I should also upgrade my PSU since the minimum requirements for the 6670 state a 450W PSU.

If it is recommended that I also upgrade my PSU, should I instead return the 6670 and replace it with a 7750 which requires less watts?

Many people have been running 6670 without any issue with 300W psu so it should be fine.
6670 and 7750 does not require alot of power to run
