Question 3060 Ti Strange Squares

I have a EVGA RTX 3060Ti FTW3, and this issue started yesterday when I was in the middle of playing a game.
Here is a video of the issue.
Things I've tried:
- Changing the display port cable and ports: no change
- Clean install of Nvidia drivers with DDU: after uninstalling, the issue seems to be gone, but after it starts installing upon restart, the issue immediately appears.
- Installing newest, and older, drivers: no change

I've never toggled the settings for the GPU, so all settings should be the same as it was from the factory.
Is the GPU cooked, or am I doing something wrong? I think it still within warranty.

Looks like your GPU might be faulty, as this most likely looks like a GPU memory/VRAM corruption issue. If true, then there is not much you can do about this, apart from buying a new GPU. But before that, list your current and full PC specs as well.

Which PSU/Power supply model have you been using to power the 3060 Ti ? If you are getting artifacts, then most likely your GPU might be the culprit.

A common form of serious GPU artifact is a "checkerboard" pattern which covers the screen, apart from pixels, dots/lines, colored squares and other forms of screen distortion.

The GPU might be on it's last legs, though, the only way to fully confirm this is by installing the video card on some other system as well, using a different PSU model. Can you TEST the Video card on some other PC ?

What does it say under the Windows "Device Manager" settings, under "Display Adapters" ? Does it say error 'CODE 43' ? Use GPU-Z to monitor the graphics card specs and parameters if need be.

Sometimes overheating and/or high GPU TEMP issues can also attribute to this screen behavior. What is the current temp value of the GPU in idle desktop mode ? I presume you have NOT done any form of OC on the card as well ?

If your current motherboard supports "onboard graphics", then use the system's iGPU to boot Windows OS. If there are no issues on the monitor's screen after this boot, then most likely the GPU is the culprit here.

Thanks a lot for the detailed reply!
For the full PC specs:
- GPU: 3060ti FTW3
- CPU: Ryzen 3700x
- Motherboard: Aorus B550i
- RAM: G. Skill 16gb DDR4
- PSU: Corsair RM750x
I assume nothing is wrong with the monitor as the whole setup appears to work correctly everytime I uninstall drivers.

I checked GPU-Z and it appears to idle at around 32C currently, but it is likely that it was hot when the issue occurred yesterday, as it had been running for 5-6h at the time. And yes, I’ve done no over clocking of any form.

I also looked at the Device Manager and it appears normal, no code 43.

Given this info, do you recommend I send the GPU in as it is still under warranty? I still haven’t tested it, though.

What does it say there ? Is the GPU's full model number/name displayed, or is there also a small 'yellow triangle' mark with an exclamation sign next to it ?

But in any case, I would advise to double check the card on some other system if possible, before sending it for RMA. Oh btw, your PC specs are fine, including the PSU's make/model.

It looks normal on the device manager, simply NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti, with no yellow triangle.

I will swap GPUs with another PC and see what it does.

Alright, finally manged to swap it. After swapping it into another PC, and installing the drivers, the squares immediately appear again (and as expected, the other GPU doesn't have the squares). Looks like I will be RMAing it. Thanks for all the help again!
