I'd like to request help with finishing this build.
I'd like to overclock the CPU, so a strong enough motherboard will be required. The rest I can cheap out on.

I need the PSU, RAM, CPU cooler, tower and motherboard. I might be able to salvage an SSD from my laptop, but if you have a recommendation for that please go for it.

Thank you so much in advance.

When I click on the link it sends me to my shopping cart which consists of a badminton net. I am guessing that is not what you are trying to show me lol

Hey there,

Where are you living? What budget gave yo got for the other parts. Whilst you can get lower end parts, with a strong system like that you will also need a quality PSU. That's one thing I wouldn't cheap out on.
I am living in Japan. I have the budget to build a fine ass PC, but would like to get the best bang for my buck on the cheaper alternatives. I'll take your PSU recommendation seriously

If you point us to store you purchase from, I'm sure we can find you something.

In terms of PSU, a decent 650w will do fine. Whilst wattage is important, quality is what you want. Corsair RMx/RMI/RM 650w, EVGA G2/G3, Seasonic Focus plus Gold, are all great PSU's with long 7-10 year warranties, and are fully modular for nice cable management.

I am planning to buy from amazons japanese site. There is also a pc parts store nearby which I could go to but they have limited selections, either way that is where I bought the 3060ti for 650USD so I might revisit the place soon. Thank you so much for the PSU information, it good to know those specific ones will work

Thank you again for all these recommendations. My brother in law also recommended lian li towers to me because of their air flow which is what I want. Quick question, will that motherboard be able to handle the overclocked CPU with no problems? I would really like if it were able to as I'd like to get my money's worth for the CPU.

Neither that cooler nor mobo are adequate for that goal. If OC'ing wasn't part of the requirements, at least the 240mm cooler would've been fine.
Need a 280mm or larger for that cpu, as when you go to benchmark or stress test all the cores for OC stability, it's going to overwhelm a 240mm.
Motherboard's a no-go:

Yes, it's an 11900K in the video, but that cpu is pretty much a higher binned 11700K. It's going to be able to get by with lower voltage settings.

After much thought and consulting with a friend, I am no longer planning to overclock as of now. Being a beginner and also after researching the games I'll be playing, the overclock would not be needed/not in my best interest as beginner.

With that said, I am inviting anyone else with knowledge to provide their input on recommendations. I am sticking with the Lian Li case provided by Mr.Keith.

No need whatsoever to overclock this cpu.
