Question 3070 Issues. Any Ideas?

Hey all.

Just got a ASUS ROG Strix NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070, I am having some issues with the performance of it.
When I try to play things like ARK or the Outriders demo my monitor will randomly go into stand by mode. PC stays on but no display until I reset my PC.
Card appears to stay running since fans are still going.
If i lower the GPU clock by like 20% via MSI Afterburner ark will play but outriders still does it. Drivers are up to date, windows up to date, etc.
Occasionally when i restart I get a 'vender.dll failed to load VGA' error
Running temp under load (while playing games) seems to be around 60-63 C

As a side note I have tried this with and without ASUS GPU Tweak II. Gave the same issue no matter what.
Fans I set to 100% during testing.

Anyone have any ideas?

Have you tried a different cable / port / monitor

I haven't tried a different monitor yet. Im about to unplug this one and just try with only my 2nd monitor to see if that helps now. Will update once I know.

As a brief update. Is it possible that CPU temps would cause the display to go black and say it lost signal but not turn the PC off? I just rebooted my PC during some testing was sitting at a solid 80C on NZXT. I thought if it was CPU temps it would shut the whole pc down.
