Wondering if you can help or advise. I bought a 3070 and when I plug the PCIE 8 pin and 6 pin into the card it doesn't fully clip onto the card so the cables are extremely loose. They worked fine on the 1070ti. Any suggestions? I bought a new cable and still having the same issues.

Specs
3070
Asus zf270 motherboard
I7 7700k
Corsair 650x psu

I had the same issue when installing my gigabyte gaming oc rtx 3070! I remember having a hard time to get the 6+2 power connector inserted fully. I had a spare one so I swapped it out and it was still a bit fiddly but I managed to get it in eventually I just had to be patient

How did you get it in? Even with force it doesn't fit correctly. What cables do I need and where can I get them from? Not having much luck on amazon

I can't quite remember it was a few months ago. I just know it was a struggle to get it to fit so I used a spare one I had in my psu box and it fitted in eventually! Sorry I cant be of more help. I'm also not sure about where to get a new one! I live in New Zealand so my shops probably will be different to yours

FIXED IT!!!

So i basically got a knife and pushed the pins to center on the graphics card (sketchy <Mod Edit>) but it worked
