[SOLVED] 3070 no adapter in box, have double pcie cord, will it work?

So i bought a 3070 to get me by until a 3080ti is available in 2021, had enough of waiting for the 3080's to be available.

Anyway the 3070 didn't have an adapter in the box (I just assumed it would). So I have a pcie cable currently that is double ended and was wondering if this would be acceptable to run the 3070 with?

What adapter do you mean? The 3070FE should only need one 8pin PCIe cable connector or the 6+2 pin the picture of yours is showing
Which exact 3070 model is it?

Which power supply are you using?

Box in the background seems to be from Gigabyte. So probably not founders edition card.

Well can mark it answered - I had 2 of the same cords and decided to just use 2 of the same cord to split the power instead of using 1 cord. Everything working fine atm.

Yes. It's best to use 2 cords instead of one.
Cables will heat up less.
