Question 3070 Ti installed, but Rust is only at 70fps ?

i get it could be a cpu bottleneck from what i have researched already but i just wanna ask. i play every other game i have perfectly fine with no issues but Rust for some reason will not get good fps.
ive been playing Rust for while but recently this game has just been getting laggier and laggier. if you know anything on what could help? or maybe a fix? it would be highly appreciated. thanks!
my specs are:
GPU: 3070ti 8gb
CPU: Intel Core i5-11600k
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 32GB DDR4 @ 3200mhz

Use DDU to remove all drivers from your computer and then reinstall the latest Nvidia drivers.

I have the same GPU and ram as you, so I start downloading Rust and when I get home, I'll try it. I haven't played it in months, but I'll check if I can play it in more than 70FPS
The CPU can't bottleneck 3070Ti. I was with 9700K and it was fine with that card.
In what resolution are you playing?

as joan16v said - reinstall drivers with ddu in safe mode and see if there is a difference.

Just checked the game. I hit 160+ fps on "stock" game settings on 1440p.
Check to see in-game options - graphics (I think) - fps limiter and set it to No Limit.

update: i used DDU and it fixed alot of issues with other games, but rust seemed to be the same. maybe a little more performance but nothing too noticable.
