I recently built a pc with a 3070ti. The first issue I had was the card was not outputting to the monitors which I fixed, but now it is not even running games or running at low fps. Ran DDU and reinstalled drivers. Swapped card to 1070ti runs fine on that. Is it Problem with the GPU?

Specs: Ryzen 5800x, rtx 3070ti, 32gb 3200mhz ram, 750watt 80+ gold psu

Making assumptions about the rest of your system, is this covered by a warranty or return window?

When you originally had the no video issue, what was the resolution?
What is the exact brand and age of the power supply?

I have personally dealt with Zotac graphics cards being BOB. Notwithstanding other checks to rule it out, I would almost instantly consider this a return situation.

I just built this pc this week and the card just came in yesterday, so I was using my 1070ti while I was waiting for the card to come. I have two monitors 1440p and 1080p. The power supply is brand new Segotep 750w. It was running perfectly fine until I swapped out to the 3070.

In my otherwise uninformed opinion, this branches two ways. You either have a PSU that isn't outputting properly for its rating, or a bad GPU. Reading seems to indicate that the Segotep isn't a bad product, according to the line.

I think my first step would be to return or RMA the GPU.

This suggestion is making the assumption that the drivers are properly installed and that the balance of the system is operating properly, not too much background process or RAM usage, or other high usage apps running and so forth. The PSU is properly rated plus some for the 3070, and the other card working correctly seems to indicate the issue isn't with the system.

Hi, I actually ended up fixing the issue with my card switched the pcie gen switch from auto to gen 3 in the bios and the card is running better and ran userbenchmark test good, I checked userbenchmark again with the setting at auto and the numbers were half that for my GPU. I assume the issue was with this setting. I also did another ddu uninstall and driver install in safe mode.
