[SOLVED] 3080 dual GPU system

Hi there,

I want to build a dual GPU system with the new 3080s or 3070s if I can't get the bigger cards to work.
The system is mostly intended for simulation work, so it does not need to be optimized for gaming. I am mostly looking to balance airflow with noise.

I'd appreciate if you shared some thoughts on the following:

Case: Does a Midi-Tower such as Phanteks Entoo Evolv X make sense or will I need to move to a full tower?
Power: Will a single 1200W power supply be sufficient?
Cooling: Can I get away with Air coolers or is this a matter for liquid custom loop cooling?

You mean you want to SLI the cards? If so, no can do. There's no NVLink interface on the cards, only 3090s do that..
