[SOLVED] 3080 FTW3 with One 8-2x8 Cable

I just bought a 3080 FTW3 Ultra which has 3 8 pin connections. Due to loss over several years, I only have one 8 pin to daisy 2x8 pin cable for my Corsair hx850i psu. Realizing this, I ordered another cable. Would I be able to limit the power draw to say 300W and use the one cable for the next couple days until the other cable gets here?

No! Just wait until you get the proper cable. Make sure your PSU has 3 8-pin connectors for the GPU.
