[SOLVED] 3080 GPU Price Increases?

Hi all,

Does anyone know / think it's likely that 3080 GPU prices will skyrocket above the current listed release date price?

We saw this happen with the 1080 and 1080ti's a few years ago due to bit coin mining and the price increases made it extremely hard to buy a new GPU.

Is it likely that the 3080's can / will double + in price like that of the 10 series or will the 3080's price stay the same?

I highly doubt they will double in price. However when demand outstrips supply prices can rise, we have seen it before.

Considering the apparent price/performance value of the 3080, I fully expect retailers to demand a price premium until supplies are abundant.
